A funny decision to stream it on youtube. Kadokawa should be aware that fansubs are widespread out there. Perhaps they are just trying to get as many new converts to haruhi-ism as possible before airing season 2?

Since they have been able to troll us for 3 years, they could just as well do 3 more.
Never forget, Haruhi has fans, which means they pay for stuff. As long as there’s a chance they can get money, then Season 2 will never die.
If you keep repeating that long enough, it almost becomes believable. Hurry up, Kadokawa! I really want to see book 4 in anime form.

I think the re-airing of S1 is just to refresh our minds of what the storyline was about again… before facing off the new world of S2? Who knows…
But I’m sure S2 will air during the Summer time… if not, let it be the Autumn… c’mon, if this goes into 2010… =_=
