Did you know those douche-bags are gonna release DVD version of it? Jeez… What then? v2 for the raws and the series? Jeez, I so totally don’t wanna do that…
and haruhi 1st season is being released as HD…

I didn’t hear about Haruhi S1 being released in HD. Though there’s no chance of a UK release in HD. If they actually announce a UK release (or US with no region locking) within the next two months, I will cancel my plans of getting the rest of the DVDs.
All I know is that one of my team’s member is downloading the .ts of the HD *grins*, we, and by “we” I mean Hikki from our team, who’s a haruhi PSSSSSSYCHO-FAN, think that they release it now in HD because it’s like, ummm, setting up the stage for real season 2 haruhi…
As for not hearing about it… It’s only being released from today I understand… Wait, I’ll ask hikki more details… *asks*
God… I forgot to tell him to write it in English… *sighs*… Fucking Hebrew… *translates*
Many month ago it was said that haruhi will be translated at month XYZ, it was said very vaguely, and nobody understood wether the studio meant season 2 or not… Now it appears like the what they are broadcasting is a re-run of haruhi – only in HD… And many fans, believe that this is seting the stage for haruhi season 2 which will also run in HD.
Something like that…
A quick check of the fountain of TRUTH (Wikipedia) says:
A re-broadcast of the series has begun in April 2009. Following a comment by Teletama, one of the broadcasting stations, that the 2009 broadcast would be 28-episode long, it is believed that the re-broadcast will be followed by the second season that had been announced in July 2007. This has not yet been formally confirmed by Kadokawa, however.
Hmmmm. Mysterious. Still, I wouldn’t mind getting a HD copy of Haruhi. Just the OP alone would be amazing in HD. Fingers crossed for season 2. Say thanks to Hikki for me ^_^

click the link next to IRC (#shamisen) – accept the fact mIRC wants to open, allow it to change servers and all that
then copy “/msg [Shamisen]Haruhi xdcc send 44″ into the chat, and you should be receiving the file. if not – gotta fiddle with xdcc setting, which i dont have the patience to explain
hopefully that helps, if not…. well…. wait for torrents/MU then

I decided to try IRC again, and I’m so glad I did. It seems my ISP has FINALLY fixed the issues that meant I couldn’t connect to anything IRC related. But YAY it fixed now ^_^
