Day 2 Progress
May 20th, 2009
I know, I know, there should be QC encodes, but there’s not. >_>
So, this morning, when I planned on doing stuff, I ended up going to help my mom clean house… then I had my own job. But after that, it was HARDCORE work… except not.
I went to visit my friend, who works at Borders. <_> I ended up getting volume 2 of the Haruhi manga! So I kinda reread half of vol1… and then I really did start to work!
15-17 = Ready for QC
18 = Needs two lines TLCed. :<
19,21-23 = Needs to be timed & have the TLC applied
20 = Needs TLC applied, but is timed
24-25 = I haven't gotten around to editing these.
So, it's 3:30am (I went out for a few hours...) and I'm about to head to bed. I'll be making QC encodes of 15, 16, 17, 18, and 20 when I wake up. (I'll just leave the two lines to be TLCed in for 20, since it's so short) After those are done and uploading, I'll work on timing/applying TLC to 19,21-23. And then make QC encodes of those.
So, by midday tomorrow, I should have 15-23 in QC!
...would you guys be horribly mad if 24/25 weren't *released* on Thursday, but instead just put in QC? >o< And released Friday/Saturday? Or will you stone me for not having them done done? X_x I just wasn’t expecting 16 to take soooooo long X_X And it still looks like shit. v_V

Of course we can wait for these two last eps a bit longer. The important thing is you’re actually working on them.

Seriously though, take your time, a little patience will be good for us. And before I forget, again; thanks for all the hard work up until now, though not everyone will show it, we’re all grateful for it!

Just get them done at a reasonable rate and there’s no complaints. Quality is always better than speed

Go ahead and take your time. It doesn’t matter if you’re one or two days late, we just care if you actually get them out sometime this year.
So take some time off if you need it, we’re not trying to rush you or anything.

As someone already said, accuracy and good quality is more important that how soon they are out. By the end of this month would still be acceptable in my opinion!
I got the Haruhi manga volume 2 today too! Along with the first novel. Should be arriving in the next few days…..
In other news, don’t push yourself too hard. We’ll praise you forever if you just get things done in general rather than give up like some fansub groups. Also, quality>speed. This doesn’t apply to K-ON! as I need moar Yui NAOW!!! **goes to rewatch series so far**
I’d be happy even if you only got 15 out by the end of the week! Doing a good job is always more important. And I know how tiring it can be, I’m working on a 7 ep project myself, and whoever did the English scripts had the timing all wrong and didn’t translate all the same lines as the included subs. Luckily I know enough German to fill in the blanks. Stay strong.
Dude take it easy…we don’t expect you to reach the point op exhaustion (at least I don’t) for the Haruhi releases.
Take your time, do a good job like you always do and ffs take a rest :S
PS: I do expect them by the end of the month though
