I didn’t have anything to work on for DATS so I worked on this instead…

0:18 / 1:18- Dunno if it’s just me, but the colour of the boxes used to hide the original text is a different colour than the rest of the paper.
0:21 – Following stylebook, “?!” -> “!?”
0:36 – Sign’s late. Also, “the others” uncapitalized, while it follows the dialogue, looks weird, maybe capitalize “the”.
0:47 – “So” -> “Now then”
1:13 – “Let’s hear the answers” -> “Let’s hear your answers”
1:39 – “?!” -> “!?”
1:44/1:52 – Add exclamation mark
2:15 – Sign’s late. Bleeds into the credits too.
This is what I get for trying to do it on no sleep… sorry for all the lame notes.
00:36 – Sign’s late. “the others -> “The others”
00:21 – “Okay, so here’s…” -> “Okay, here’s”
01:31 – Just to bring this up, “Let’s see what’ll win!” Since she is taking about Kyon, a person, and a truck, an object, I don’t know if it should stay “What’ll” for the truck or “who’ll” for Kyon. Both sound right.
01:44 – “Are you telling me to die?” -> “Do you want me to die!?”
02:16 – The sign runs into the credits.
In response to pheonix’s note at 1:31, maybe it’d be better to use “which one will” instead. It’s a bit longer, yes, but it avoids this problem entirely.
Yeah I didn’t know what to do with that line. I sat there for five minutes trying to think of something else but I couldn’t. That works for me, thanks.
0:19 – The “hey” seems a little weird since Haruhi doesn’t say anything other than Mikuru’s name. Suggest “Mikuru-chan, you watchin’ yet?”
