I’d like to demand and complain! =P

Anyway, SOS sounds like a tough job, although that’s basically the only reason i somehow became an encoder of shamisen (Heard about SOS->Searched subs for SOS->Found Shamisen->Found the encoder-needed post).
I’d really like to see it finished, but do it in your pace, but after seeing the first episode I’m sure you’ll do it good.

Thank you, sir. Comments like yours are truly the ones that fuel us, translators. We don’t ask for praise: merely for understanding (though praise is good, too : P ). And it seems you got that. Frankly, if only all the comments were like this – rather than a good number being demands and complaints – I’d be more than fired up to do Toradora SOS, ASAP. The time of release of any project is usually dictated by the community and their comments – The bad ones halt our progress and brings upon us a wave of lethargy; the good ones fire us up, and make us more than willing to do the job required.

Thank you for the update.

I fully respect what PhantomCaller has said in the Shoutbox regarding the translation difficulties of Toradora SOS, though I really wish that we will see Shamisen finishing it off, however incomplete it may turn out to be. Partially translated releases are still miles better than no release at all, IMO.

I can definitely agree with that assessment. Haruhi-chan has always been the priority, and should remain as such.

I’ve also found Nyoro~n to be a rather lackluster series when it comes right down to it. That being said, seeing it done (although there’s no huge rush) after Haruhi-chan gets finished would be a nice bonus.

As for Toradora SOS. Well, I’ve never seen the main series, I don’t plan to either. So I can’t really care the same way other people do.

Ya, Kirakira seems to have done a good job, so no worries.

The TLC for Nyoron was more about the fun of translating it than the thought of it being released (Except for that sports episode – that one was pretty annoying). : )

Addendum: As long as Hokori-chan gets the media attention she deserves, I’m happy.

I fully intend to do Nyoron, as a personal deal… and PhantomCaller already did the TLC. Not gonna waste his work.

And from what I’ve seen of the Kirakira releases… not so impressed.

Aw, I like Nyoron…although it doesn’t really make any sense as a side-series of Haruhi. I just think of it as being about a weird little girl who loves smoked cheese.

I agree with Blah. I’d really like to see Toradora SOS finished since Toradora is my third favorite series after Haruhi and Higurashi. But as far as Nyoron goes, you guys really don’t have to bother as far as I’m concerned. Personally I like the series a lot. Not quite as much as Haruhi-chan, but I still find it very enjoyable. But Kirakira has already done a wonderful job doing the full DVD release so I don’t see the point in you guys duplicating the work.

Well, nice to see some sort of status update. I agree about Nyoron – it’s not as funny as Haruhi-chan (and for those who want it, Kirakira finished the DVDs of them a while back). I would like to see Toradora SOS though; sad that it’s probably gonna be dropped.
