Since wordpress.com has been deleting fansub blogs lately, , I’ve decided to get a domain for this place and move it to my own hosting.

Uhm, our IRC bot, [Shamisen]Kyon seems to be no more.

He’s been replaced with [Shamisen]Haruhi. Pack #s are the same, and all the triggers have been updated…

Why are people only noticing this now?

Shamisen = fansub releases

Shimasen = youtube rips

o_O It’s supposed to be a joke. I’ve done it for all the YouTube rip torrents…

Right now, there is a lot of stuff happening for me. I honestly don’t know if I’ll continue doing the resubs.

Really, until further notice, don’t count on seeing any subs from Shamisen. I pissed the encoder off last night, I kickbanned everyone from the channel, shut down the IRC bot… and shut off all of my computers. It’s been a bit too much for me lately. So, really, I dunno. I might keep doing it, I might not. Depends on if I can make it up to people for my bad behavior last night.

And really, I want to try and spend more time with my dad. It’s likely he won’t be around this time next year

Edit: OMG, those are amazing. *hasn’t really laughed much in the last few days*

We finally got added to AnimeSuki… we’re group #999. How awesome is that? XP

And can someone add our SOS release to BakaUpdates & Subwire? I dunno how to.
For those that have yet to see it, it’s available on YouTube and Fansub.tv, I guess. There is also a rather ugly styled Spanish one on YouTube too~

Now, I’d like to make something clear. We’re perfectly fine with people using our scripts to make other language fansubs. I put up the scripts for download for that reason. We’re even fine with you using our encodes, and just remuxing. All we ask is that you leave in the credits. Or, at least say that you based it off of Shamisen’s work. While we don’t do full translations of Haruhi or Nyoron, we do get them checked. And we did do our own original translation for SOS…

That Spanish YouTube gives no credit to Soulshift for his immese translating work. He spents hours on that 5 minute episode… and then it gets used again with no credit. :/ That’s pretty insulting.

But anyways, thanks to those that have linked back We hope you keep using our scripts, because I like to contribute to a lazier world \o/ If one less person has to try and time Haruhi-chan, all the better xD

We’re expanding into Europe. There are now French and German scripts for a variety of episodes available on the Raws & Scripts page.

I also uploaded the raws for 5 & 6.

We won’t be sharing our karaoke script because a lot of work was put into it Sorry for anyone that wanted it.

Those are seriously the most annoying thing ever. After a bit of googling, I have found out how to disable them.
